5g vegetable oil
1 vegan burger patty
1 vegan burger bun
35g pulled BBQ vegetables
1 salad accompaniment
1 large leaf iceberg lettuce
1 tomato slice
1 large slice red onion
30g BBQ sauce
Our new Vegan Burger, with BBQ Soya has been awarded Best Vegan Burger at PETA’s 2017 Vegan Food Awards – not least because this mouth-watering dish is our first-ever vegan meal.
By working closely with people who choose a vegan diet – and listening to the things that they most crave when dining out – we’ve worked really hard to create a burger everyone will love, following the latest burger trends to deliver a patty topped off with pulled BBQ soya, which really packs a punch on taste.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Place your favourite vegan burger patty on a baking tray, brush lightly with olive oil and cook for 6 minutes, turning burger over half way through cooking time.
Fry pulled BBQ vegetables in a pan in hot oil for approx. 4 minutes on medium heat. Cut burger bun and toast under a grill until lightly browned.
Once the burger bun is lightly browned, remove from grill, spread BBQ sauce on bun base, remove burger from oven, top burger with Pulled BBQ vegetables, lettuce, onion and tomato slice.
